We The People U.S.A., firmly believes that collaboration is key to achieving lasting impact.  As such, we actively engage with local schools, mental health providers, parent-teacher associations, community centers, and other stakeholders to integrate our program into existing educational frameworks.  Through these partnerships, we aim to reach children and young adults from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they have the necessary tools for a brighter, drug-free future.

Pre-Teen

D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education): D.A.R.E. is a widely recognized program that provides drug prevention education to students in schools. It aims to build students’ resistance to drugs, violence, and other harmful behaviors.

 

Partnership for Drug-Free Kids: This organization offers resources, support, and tools to parents and caregivers to prevent substance abuse and addiction among children and teenagers.

 

Not My Kid: Not My Kid offers prevention programs, resources, and support to address issues like substance abuse, bullying, and self-destructive behaviors among young people.

 

CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America): CADCA supports community-based coalitions in their efforts to prevent substance abuse among youth.

 

Courage to Speak: The Courage to Speak® Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing a home, school and community approach to drug prevention through substance use prevention programs including presentations, community forums, evidenced based school curriculum, and parenting programs. 

Teens

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD): SADD empowers students to address the issues of underage drinking, drug use, impaired driving, and other destructive behaviors through peer-to-peer education and support.

 

MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving): MADD works to end drunk driving and underage drinking while supporting victims of these preventable crimes.

 

SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration): SAMHSA provides funding, resources, and information to promote behavioral health and prevent substance abuse among young individuals. 

 

Youth to Youth International: Youth to Youth International is a peer leadership and drug prevention organization that empowers young adults to become advocates for a drug-free lifestyle.

 

 

 

Young Adults

Help.org: Admitting there’s a problem is the first step in overcoming addiction to alcohol or drugs, but deciding to reach out for help is the necessary second step.

 

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): NAMI provides education, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness, including those struggling with the mental pressures of drug and alcohol use.

 

 

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA): While not specifically dedicated to prevention, these support groups provide resources and support for young adults who may be struggling with drug or alcohol use.

 

 

NIAAA (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism): NIAAA conducts research and provides resources to address alcohol-related issues and promote alcohol abuse prevention among young adults.

At We The People Understanding Substance Abuse, we strive to put an end to the generational cycle of addiction and premature death in our adolescents, and youth by promoting healthy life-extending choices through multi-level educataionl efforts.  The unique aspect of our approach lies in the incorporation of positive and healthy images, and messages into everyday products, and activities.  We strive to infuse these messages into K-12 schools, fundraisers, participatory events, and community-wide retail outlets, making it impossible for individuals and communities to ignore or forget the important message we convey.  By intergrating the message of prevention and education into the fabric of our daily lives, we ensure that the impact is far-reaching and long- lasting.
